If I accidentally called “interest groups” (which is what they wanted) lobbyists in one of the FRQ’s, does that mean my entire FRQ is wrong? :|

Also, for some reason I thought that inherent were the opposite of implied powers.

^ Wait, did you say interest groups can’t lobby?

what was the Q about inherent powers?

hahaha oh shoot. Is “the franking priviledge” considered an linking institute?

That was easy… deceptively so. Easist test I’ve taken so far. May the next 5 be just as easy! Why was it so easy?!

another quick question, if the cutoff is around 95+ for a 5, whats the range for a 4 then? I didn’t feel too good (don’t laugh at me) about the MC. Skipped around 5-6 and guessed on a few.

@Smile

Linkage institutions are media, elections, political parties, and interest groups

^^^thats jsut something u do NOT talk about

;)

what do you guys answered for FR 1a??? i was kinda confused with that one…

Wait…the AP people don’t cut points off for wrong info…so if I gave both a wrong example and a correct example on one of the FRQs, I’m still getting the points for the correct example, right?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, they can only reward you for what you did well/correctly, they cannot take points away from you if you got something incorrect.

they take 1/4 off for every wrong answer on the mc

If you look at the rubrics for the past FRQs, it breaks down the question in Part A, Part B, etc. and they only award points, they can’t take them away.

4e. of the essay questions…something about implications of the president to raise support or awareness of policy objectives or something like that…I said press conferences because the prez answers questions about his policy agenda from reporters at press conferences.

Also, there was an MC question regarding cooperative federalism. I said that there were shared areas of policy or something. That true?

Plus, anybody know what the cut off is?

the last frq about televised nightly news, i said it implied that presidents would need to utilize more popular media such as the internet, due to technological advances developed between 1974 and 2002 in order to increase the viewing/reading patterns.

I did the same thing as Sapphire_Ocean.

I also felt that this AP exam today couldn’t have been any easier. =)

I said the same also.

Does that mean I got it wrong?

It all depends on the rubric, to be honest. Some graders tend to be generous upon scope, because the question was so vague.

Does anyone here want to PM with me about the exam? …if we’re allowed to do that? If so, hit me up with a PM and I’ll reply.

I simply said for the “implication” thing that the chart implied that presidents were losing media influence through television. Isn’t that all it was asking? =/

^Me too. I said that plus a bunch of other stuff just to make sure I’d get a point for something.

This was asked already but I’m kind of unclear. What are inherent powers?
