The AP US Government and Politics Thread

k thanx
I may have skipped a relating to that… :(

Overall I thought the test wasn’t that hard.

I only truly guessed on about 3 or 4 of them.

The free response was a sinch as well.

Hopefully this is a good sign.
:D

How do I join the chat using AIM Express?

i had trouble on one of the FRQs, number three. But dont discuss it!lol

Took it today. Tests in which I am the only one taking it are freaking great. So relaxing and calming. No competition. Just me and the guidance counselor…

I took AP Gov today, too.

Arrghh…

I didn’t follow the directions for the free response; I forgot to go to the next page after answering the first question. The answer to the second free response question is written on the same page as the first one! Thankfully, I realized my mistake by the third question.

Does anyone know how the free response questions are graded? I think they take the packet apart for multiple readers. Hopefully someone will notice that my first and second response are all on the same page… I drew a bunch of lines dividing the two.

Thoughts, anyone?

Arrghh…

[Bangs head on desk]

on the test, u know the question abut the inherent powers the president has…does any1 remember all the answer choices?

omg!
this is for comparative exam, but I answered all 6 FR in one sheet! so its like 1, 2 ,3 ,4, 5, 6.

OMG will I fail? cuz there are 8 FR and I was lazy to switch paper…

OMG!

Wait… so for the free response:

If I answer question 1 on the front side of the sheet and begin question 2 on the back side of the sheet, that’s incorrect?? I didn’t put two questions on the same side of one sheet.

So confused, this sucks.

That’s not incorrect; nobody said it was incorrect.

The AP readers are required to read every word you write in the booklet unless you cross it off. My teacher has been a reader every year for a long time lol. She told us.

the curve is going to be insane this year

what if i answered the questions in reverse order??
for one of them i did C, B, A because i couldn’t remember the answer to A at first.

I didn’t label my parts, but separated by paragraphs.
It went,

Answer C
Answer B
Answer A

without labeling…

That was so easy! I know I got at least 50-60 mc and did really well on FRQs.
Normally the curve is about 48 for a 5. It will probably be more like 50 this year.

wat do u mean itll be insane think+?

as in generous!?!?

yes im not alone!!! I had trouble with 3 too…ugh…3 or 4 prolly,…

i used filibusting as example too…tht was the hardest one…

i can see how the house can connect the government to the people, but some of the linkage institutions I DEFINITELY Think are correct other than voting are: media & interest groups

yes! yes! i wrote about the use of internet too!!!

waite futureteacher09, are you saying you think that house is okay for linkage group??!
