anybody got any last minute cramming advice for mee? thanks :]

Feh, if you think you need help, I'm taking this test without the class or a test prep book, just a textbook that is pretty damn crappy.

Luckily, supposedly this test is one of the "non-AP AP tests."

Are pens necessary for the freeresponse questions?

cramming is bad, heres a last ditch effort, 24 hours till... and you have to kinda ditch school for it... give up something in return for something else.

Hour 1, review on societies and their generalization of effects, the important stuff only.

Hours 2 -3, if you notice any hard points, cover them quickly and repeatedly, if none appears review any notes you have taken over the course

Hours 4 - 5, again with the trouble areas, any come up, stop that trouble in the way and move on, review sub headings of your AP book nonetheless of no trouble areas.

Hours 7 - 9, have a study book?... get it... cover a practice exam... find out your weak points and wrongs, find out more trouble areas from that point and tackle them in the dust, zoom over any other notes you may have.

Hour 10, finally a break yeah?

Hour 11 - 12, dont get sidetracked, an hours enough, review all of the trouble areas you have identified yourself once more, if time review each chapter/sub section, and from there create a generalization that of which you retrieve all data you know of that chapter. Either that or use a study book which generalizes the points of societies.

Hour 13 - 15, still have that study guide book?, go to the second practice exam, yes finish it and reveal all the trouble areas and the explanations of that.

Hours 15 - 22, an 8 hours full rest, trust that sleep helps alot in times of desire and trouble.

Hours 22 - 24, accordingly, shower, eat protien, alot of it judging it is the best for testing purposes, try getting in the same mood you were studying in, it shows in studies that studying and testing in the same mood helps you remember more, DO NOT STUDY... i repeat DO NOT STUDY. you will only confuse yourself with the stuff you just had recently covered. go to the center for testing, and psas that exam

Oh hey guys sorry I was offline for a while...

Q: In total tonnage, what is the most traded crop of today? (as in today's society)

A. Sugarcane
B. Cotton
C. Wheat
D. Tobacco
E. Coffee

I looked it up and I think the answer was wheat...

New similar related q:

How has the interaction of countries globally affected the spread of crops? What has this spread of crops influenced?

AHH tomorrow's the test.

Quick Question (sorry lucyz for not answering your question):

During what dynasty/time period did Buddhism reach China and become prominent? Why didn't Buddhism rise in India? Did any dynasty/emperor officially convert to Buddhism in China?

No...Budhism just blended in with the philosophies of Confucianism and Daoism in China. Buddhism was big in India when Asoka, the ruler of the Maurya Dynasty converted to Buddhism, but after that it never became dominant. The dynasty in China I believe was the Han, but I am not sure.

ok well heres a question:

who was the person who recaptured jerusalem after the first crusades and under what empire?

I'm sorry if this is totally off topic, but should we guess on this exam? My teacher (who is sort of an idiot) says that we should answer every single question, even if we have no idea what it's talking about. But I thought it was like the PSAT where you shouldn't guess if you have no idea.... Ahhhhh, last minute stress......

if you have no idea, don't guess. it takes off .25 for every wrong answer. it's like the SATs.

um, ok, well heres' the deal on guessing, using statistics. If you can eliminate choices up to three answers choices, then you should guess. Try this, number a piece of paper one to ten. Put the letter A B or C by each number. (This is to simulate guessing on ten questions with 3 answer choices each) So, later in the post i will give you the answers. Calculate your score, 90% of the time, people with gain points.

Also, when are students in Europe taking this? Is there some kind of preview we can get...maybe at the last minute? I remember a few years ago one forum had a discussion on the ap test they just took, and some ppl benefitted from it. Dunno...against rules? prolly...

anyways, back to the guessing thing.
check your answers:
B A C C B A B A C B
how many did you get right? what was ur total points?

also remember, there will be no patterns in you answers document. no triples or quads. um, ap test maker makes sure that each answer letter is even throughout the test. so there will be approximately 20% a's 20% b's and so forth.

good luck everybody!

What region is South Asia considered? India?

Yes.

Oh, and just so I can get feeback, my plan is to study for a bit longer, sleep for 8 hours, have an awesome breakfast, and then review how to take the test during an "AP Lunch and Relax" session before the test. There, I'll review the essay types and what they need, and maybe grey boxes in the AP PR book, which are basically the analysis I would need to frame my essays. I think I've got it down. What do you think?

my crappy study schedule
8:00- study chat with friends
around 9:30-10:00 finish up review of europe and start review of islam in the middle east
11:00-11:30- bed
6:00- wake up, shower, and try to drown my nervousness
7:30- more review of islam in middle east
10:00- review of everything

good luck tomorrow guys.
