So I signed up for the AP World History exam, even though my school doesn't offer an official AP class (just advanced). I have a pretty strong background on the subject, and the teacher says I could do well. Anyone have any advice about AP specific things to study?

Also, does it look better if you do well on the test without having the class? Will they even offer you credit?

The top colleges only offer credit if you get a good score on the test, regardless of whether you took the class or not. For AP World History, I recommend Princeton Review's AP World History book.

I like Barron's Book for AP World history. It makes things easier for me to understand.

eww Barrons

I just read PR, and I was good to go.

thanks, everyone. i just bought the princeton review one, and will probably order some of the old tests, too. my textbook is actually the one the guy who wrote the PR book used as an outline (The World's History by Spodek). it's really good.
