5'4 97 lbs.
fellow (former) xc runners ... you rock :)

whoever said this looks just as elite as a SAT thread, you made me laugh.

I eat constantly but what i eat is good food. i refrain from simple sugars. and my metabolism isn't all that amazing

but tappingprep arent you like 13 years old? you are supposed to eat alot then. (well, i thought i remember a post where you said you were 13.. if not, im very sorry)

male 5'8" 165 pounds I run cross country so i have huge legs. very little fat and am semi built

hey all!

female....118....5'7ish

i have a quick question...do anorexic tendencies come along with intelligence cuz i'm pretty sure i have them even though i don't look it (lots of people accuse me)? Maybe something to do with perfectionism and stuff like that?

Erin

Erin, that's exactly why people become anorexic. We discussed this in english class one day. They feel that they must be perfect, and some cannot achieve that perfection. But they can control exactly how much they eat and how many calories they expend, so they try to achieve perfection through their weight.

If you think you are anorexic, go to a doctor or your guidance counselor and tell them your situation..like your eating patterns and they will tell you if you should do something about it. The very first sign of anorexia is denial and it doesn't seem as if you're denying it, so you may not, I dunno.

LOL, I felt so good about myself before I read this thread........

5'3, 114 lb

my delusions of being skinny go down the toilet.........

6' 1.5
~172-175 lb
XC runner, it made me gain weight! I was one of the top varsity runners in my conference, but the "fattest" by far ( about 15 pounds more than the second heaviest guy).
This just shows you that running is not just for skinny people.
so EAT UP! (mmm, just chomped down some more fried rice and fries)

5'8''
195 lbs

I play defense in Lacrosse, so I need some extra weight to throw into checks. I'm not skinny, not fat, but in the upper part of the space in between. I am the lightest d-pole on the team though. The rest are linemen in football, and are around 240-280. I play soccer in the off season to stay conditioned.

if you eat a lot of good food spread out through the day it keeps your metabolism running. mu mum gan weight when she doesnt eat enough.

and yes i am 13 but i'm not growing anymore unfortunately.

erin, dont go anorexic! not only is it very unhealthy but eventually you will stop and your metabolism will go down the toilet.

everybody, eat lots of good food!

You can't GO anorexic.

Starvation diets and anorexia are two completely DIFFERENT things.

I feel like going manic depressive. Darnit! My schedule's not free until Monday. Oh, well. I'll have to wait.

wow i feel loved! thanks everyone for caring:)

don't worry too much about me bc i love to eat :D plus, i have two medical conditions that make it so that no matter how much i want to control my weight with anything other than good healthy food and exercise i can't: i have hypoglycemia and i can't throw up. the HG part means that i have to eat mostly protein-y stuff because i metabolize carbs and sugars so fast its like i never ate them to start with.

So thanks all,
Erin

i like to diagnose myself with things.

i am a hypochondriac, pre- narcoleptic, claustrophobic, clinically depressed teenager.

i had hypothyroid...not fun. my temperature was drastically low

ooh ooh "clinically depressed teenager" thats me!!! thats me!!! :p:)
