I know that everyone here suggests Modern European History for APEH but it's not really centered around the exam and has no practice tests, so which one is the best that is actually intended for APEH students? REA?

If you are an auditory learner and want to listen to some podcasts check out my son’s website at [Hank’s History Hour](http://hankshistoryhour.com) . He did these podcasts while in High School and many students around the country have found them helpful.

It’s PR for me, without a doubt

I listen to Hank’s History Hour to get a good summary of the chapter I previously read. It is very helpful, but by no means detailed enough to ace the AP exam. So check out his podcasts for reviews, but I would buy a supplementary prep book as well. Oh, and kudos to your son Redondo Dave; he’s an excellent speaker and his podcasts are really interesting.

Hmmm. I’ve never heard PR for AP Euro before…

I bought MEH but honestly didn’t really read it that much. I like history, but I had a really bad teacher (didn’t study outside of school though until 2 weeks before AP) and just read PR for studying and got a 5.

I agree that PR is the way to go. The review section is well done and has everything you need, with end-of chapter review questions. The sample tests are also very close to what you can expect on test day.

I also looked at Barrons, but did not like the review section, and the sample test questions were not like those that appear on the test - harder than the actual test, but not harder because of the subject matter was more difficult, but because they were, IMO, often very badly, or at least curiously, worded. Found myself wondering if the person who drafted the Barrons questions was a native speaker of English.

^ haha. Barron’s is notorious for being extra-hard.

I probably won’t start studying for the exam until ~2 weeks before. Should suffice :).

Alright thanks - I’ll check out PR and those podcasts

@Redondo Dave: kudos! it must be fun having a famous son :)
