Compare, contrast, opinions anyone?

Especially for REA, Princeton Review, and Modern European History, although all are welcome. :)

I've heard that PR has the best questions, MEH is good for brushing-up. I use MEH + Cliffs, which seems to be a pretty decent combo.

My daughter used MEH + PR and got a 5. That combo worked well for her.

What is MEH? Me and a friend are thinking about self-studying AP Euro together and we need to decide on a textbook.

MEH = Modern European History by Viault

Would it be sufficent for self-studying AP European history?

I used PR + Cliffs and got a 5

I used PR and my text and got a 5, too

Princeton Review leaves a lot out, but pretty realistic practice tests.
Barrons is more detailed, organized, and has better questions.
Cliffs AP is wonderful for learning "Big Picture" concepts, but crappy questions.
REA is much too detailed and specific; but its practice tests can be helpful.

And yes, I have each one.

My son has an excellent website that provides podcasts on each chapter of the AP Euro History lesson plan. He is getting great response from students all over the country with his audio lectures. He took AP Euro as a 10th Grader and was Student of the year in his high school and received a 5 on the AP exam. He thought he could share some of his knowledge and passion with other students.

The web site is at http://www.hankshistoryhour.com/

Check it out. I think the kids will enjoy his style.
