The BEST thing about UPenn is

Hi, i’m currently at the stage of researching colleges…so I’d just like some feedback from current students on their favourite thing about penn, is the campus? the atmosphere? the professors? the food? Why penn instead of the others? Tell me! :)

My favorite thing about Penn is the passion that students have for learning and for their personal interests. It provides for a very active student body, educated debates, and high involvement in student groups.

I love UPenn, I don't know if I can pick just one I love my classes, professors, I love everything, but I'd say my two favorite things are my friends and my classes. I really love the people here they are really nice and I love the differing opinions and backgrounds. Classes are great I love the subjects andclasses

not a current student, but stayed over at dorms for 4 days and talked to a lot of students. penn has the party ivy name, and seems to deserve it, and i would say the students there generally seem less geeky and intellectual-like than other top schools, though of course you know they're all really smart. just an observation i seem to have made. feel free to say correct me, current students.

the best thing to do is to visit

This is true brdc_2. Most students, while very intelligent, don't act like your typical geeky know-it-all college student.

It's a tie between

WHARTON. And I don't mean that in the "I'm in Wharton and so much better than the rest of Penn" way (cuz let's be honest, they're not). I mean it in that Wharton is a unique and spectacular resource for all Penn undergrads.

I'm in the College and I can take course on negotiations, marketing, management, or any other business field that I find not only interesting, but incredibly useful.

aaand

THE CITY. The size of Penn, the size of Philly, and the distance from Penn to Center City all come together in the perfect combination that allows for a vibrant campus scene and for a city full of opportunities.

Any top school is going to give you a great basic education. These are what makes Penn special to me.
