Just please state your favorite part of Penn.
Either an activity, a place, a service, or really anything you want to say!
I'm visiting later this month and I wanted some students' perspectives.
Thanks!

The Quad’s architecture. Also, the Wharton MBA’s quality.

Thanks! I guess I will be visiting the Quad.

Locust Walk. It looks like a postcard. :)

If you get a chance, walk through the campus at night. It has a great atmosphere

I love the many events at Penn. There’s always something going on-world leaders, free movie screenings, and a lot of free food.

Student groups straight up make Penn what it is. I would hate this place if it weren’t for all of the different organizations through which I’ve made all of my friends and really found myself. The best of those has to be the Glee Club, too. I mean hell, how else would I have gotten the chance to go to three Latin American countries of the course of two weeks, perform for sold out audiences and do it for a thousand bucks total (including airfare and lodging)?

Phi Gamma Nu!
And the people, obviously

party scene is great and speakers are amazing across all disciplines.

Location. I love the city of Philadelphia. There are so many things to do in Philly, and its so easy to get there (you can even walk there from Penn). Because of Penn’s situation in University City/West Philadelphia, there are countless opportunities to interact with the surrounding community. And if you want to see something else besides Philly, NYC and DC are both a quick bus/train ride away.

Fling in the quad on Saturday afternoon when mask and wig band plays. So many good “memories”.

lol @crimson, I don’t contest that wharton mba is great but alot of the mba students stay away from undergrad heavy courses since we’re known to be more… ‘competitive’ (read as likely to sleep less hours).

@scribbler, are you in pgn? I know a few people in there haha.

My favorite part… philly orchestra?

So you guys feel like there are a lot of ways to get involved? That’s mainly what I’m looking for. Do you think you made the right choice to go to Penn?

I feel that I am the luckiest person around because I somehow ended up coming to school here. I love it, I adore it, I call it my home.

If by “involved” you mean community service, then yes, tons. If by “involved” you mean student groups, then yes, tons. So…yes, tons. Let me know if you have specific questions.

I will be the happiest person on Earth if I am lucky enough to get in next year. Thanks so much for all your responses, I can’t wait to visit in May!

@disgradius
Yes, yes indeed I am in PGN haha.
