<p>Aside from that, when you have some positive, substantive news to share (greatly improved SAT scores, great report card, elected baseball team captain, mentioned in the news for saving someone's life, discovered a natural remedy for cancer and the common cold :D) ... send an update. Not every day or even every week, but whenever you have some meaningful new accomplishments to share.</p>
