Sunday between the raindrops ... :(

478 grads ... including about 7 or 8 BFAs, about 130 BSers, and 339 BAs ... :).

About 70 w/ various honors, summa, magna, cum ... ;)

About 5 of those graduating a semester early:eek:

And only 1 in 3 years... :D  :p

The raindrops weren’t that big! At least they had the event inside.

Congrats to the Grads and their parents !!

Congratulations to the Graduates and their parents, especially to WP whose daughter graduated in 3 years!

My son will be starting his grad school in 2 weeks, pursuing a teaching career, he wants to teach high school English, well, there won’t be any teaching job when he graduates in June 2012, pay is not good even if he gets a job, but that’s what he wants to do.

He truly misses Denison and his friends, he was so sad after we left campus.

So I am still paying tuition, i.e. grad school, at least my daughter still has 3 more years of high school to go.

Congrats to you too Hopeful. You know, there truly is no higher, worthy calling than teaching. Looking @ the immediate scenario in public education can be intimidating. Still, there are children always in need of great mentors and teachers. And if it is his true calling, while the money can be disappointing, a lifetime of service and fulfillment of God’s plan for him is the ultimate in rewarding work worth doing well.
