So I'm your typical going-to-be-17 high school student. My parents keep asking me what I want for my birthday (besides a laptop - they're saving that one for next year when I'm entering college), but I have NO clue.

So I got the idea of making a thread on CC where we could all post what we wanted for our birthdays. Just give your gender, age, and as many gifts that you would like on your birthday! Future CCers and CCer-parents will probably find this useful.

It’s nowhere near my birthday (turned 17 in May), but I have yet to get the one gift that I’ve been wishing for about 2 years now. 2 pounds of cooked bacon. My than would rather buy me grand luxuries than my one desire.

But two years ago I did want an icecream cake and I got that :P

Did you know that last year the Inspire went on sale for half price for about a month…$54 dollars, bro. Unfortunately I turned my money in too late so I have to get a TI 89 for Calc this year :(

For my birthday I would want the full series of The Last Apprentice, a field trip with my class to the beach for the whole school day, and a Macbook.

…Only on CC would someone want a calculator for their Birthday smh

Age: 15 (turning 16)
Gender: Male
Bday: 12/1

My mom usually gives me $100 and lets me get what I want. I’ll probably buy 1-2 used xbox games on ebay and a book or 2. I don’t usually spend more than $60-70 of it.

Don’t really know what I want. I haven’t gotten a birthday gift in a few years. It’d be neat-o if I got a really nice lightweight laptop (not Macbook Air tier, but my first and only computer is a 4yr old netbook).

Oh, and a nice dinner at my favorite Italian place.

I don’t get presents anymore, and I just became a teen. I’m not trying to complain, but the kids in my district get designer brand clothes, an iDevice, and some cash. Then they go around saying ‘I only got…’ I would like a pet, or money for AP exams. xD

My parents don’t usually get me birthday presents. And I’m kind of afraid to ask them for anything, because they always tell me, “You’re not entitled to anything, you don’t deserve anything until you get into college”, etc., etc. Lately, though, I’ve been eyeing some CDs (I like to have CDs rather than an album bought off of iTunes, idk why. I guess it’s kind of like preferring a hard copy of a book to a Kindle.) When I was in elementary/middle school and still had free time outside of school, my mom would take me on trips, which I think is a better alternative. I probably won’t ask for anything until after I graduate high school, and then I’ll probably ask for an Apple product (laptop, iPad, or iPhone), or something else fancy. Oh yeah, and probably new clothes and such for college.

I usually ask for books. Although I have hinted for an iphone/ipad as a graduation present…hopefully my mom will decide that facetiming is worth the cost. ;)
