The classic debate: Coke vs Pepsi

1) What do you like between the two?
2) Why?
3) What particular types of those two do you like (argh, bad phrasing, tired).
4) ...anything extra

For me:
1) Coke, generally.
2) Tastes better, for me, and tends to be more original than pepsi, pepsi tastes a bit weird though.
3) Cherry/Vanilla Coke Ftw. Blue Pepsi pwns as well.
4) I've tried Coca-Cola C2, it was different but wasn't that bad. Btw, for you UK'ers, how's CC orange?

Let the epic battle begin.

I enjoy a nice cold glass of aborted fetus. It is high in 9 essential amino acids, and it helps with my allergies.

1) Pepsi.
2) It just tastes better.
3) Just plain Pepsi.
4) Pepsi is a lot harder to find around here than Coke. It's depressing.

Oh God, why am I answering this. Oh well.

1) Pepsi (Diet)
2) Lighter feeling and no after taste
3) Like I said, Diet. Reg. Pepsi isn't great.
4) I would actually prefere Cherry Coke over reg. Pepsi, but Diet Pepsi is miles ahead of both in my book.

Diet Coke

It is the best soda, EVER.

Diet

It hurts my throat less than Pepsi and tastes fresher.

Are you serious? For every place I go to with Coke, there's an equal # of Pepsi's...

Where are you from? I find that hard to believe in the US...but maybe I'm not as informed in other states/regions.

^^ Haha, I meant like places. They only have either Pepsi or Coke. (Restaurants, schools, etc.) Most of them only carry Coke.

Not stores or anything like that.

Diet Coke
bubbly
Diet
I'm normally a diet Dr. Pepper drinker, but I'll drink this if I have to.

I'm pretty that diet stuff is bogus, right? I remember reading somewhere that diet coke can cause more weight gain than regular coke.

From what I understand, the whole issue is that artificial sweetner is up to 300x sweeter than regular sugar and this gives some folks HUGE sugar cravings.

Pepsi.

10char.

Tom- you have made my day.
I should not have been drinking water near my computer when I read that...

As to the topic:

1) Neither. If necessary, I only go with sprite or sierra mist (equally).
2) Because Jones Soda wins all.

1) Both. Its the food I'm eating w/ that decides which would be better
2) Coca Cola compliments certain food, Pepsi others.
3) Just the originals. I don't like diets of either.
4) Coke with pizza, fries, nachos. Pepsi with popcorn, hotdogs.

... It's weird. :)

P.S. -
Johnson181 - So true. Their Cream Soda really is one of the best things in the world.

I actually don't like their cream soda... but then again I don't like any cream soda. My favorite is berry lemonade :D
(Actually, my favorite is Happy Flavor, but they haven't sold that in over 6 years...)

Diet Coke: nice Mentos experiment

I don't drink cola, but anyone who likes diet soda lives a sad life. Real talk: diet is worse in a lot of ways.

i lurves teh coke ^_^

Pepsi

It has a little more sugar than Coke, and a better taste.

I prefer original, anything but diet.

Then again, I enjoy Coke as well.

I tried that mentos and Diet Coke experiment but consuming both simultaneously. That stuff came flying out of my mouth and I had painful indigestion for several days.

I'm never touching Diet Soda or mentos again.

1) Neither.
2) They both taste like corn-syrupy crap.
3) (see above)
4) Drink water. It's good.

1) I have a soft spot in my heart for Pepsi.
2) Because it's amazingly good.
3) Big fan of wild cherry pepsi
4) Pepsi reminds me of my childhood :) (beat that.)

For the record, I love diet soda. I'm 5'8" and weigh 140 so it's not like I need diet soda or anything, it's just really good.
