The 'clicking' experience

Phew... I've finally sent it! It demanded a lot of courage to do it, considering that I noticed a couple of spelling errors in the last minute! I was so tempted to wait till the last minute and keep refining it, but finally just went on and clicked 'submit the application to princeton'... Lol, the button itself was so daunting..

to ppl who've mailed or submitted their applications before- what were you're expereinces of bidding farewell to your apps?

I havent really thought about it at all since I sent it in last week...its out of my control now, so I put it out of my mind.

Dont worry, Dec. 15th will be here before you know it!

ya, i sent by mail/paper. but i read it over and over like 10 times.

now for the waiting.

i seriously read my app over like 20 times before pressing the submit button...now we all just have to wait....

lol i printed the application and supplement 7 times before submitting. out of curiosity, how many of you used the commonapp + supplement and how many used the princeton app?

I used commonapp and supplement on paper and I cast it off in the mail today. It was hard saying farewell, but it was for a good cause.

Lol.

My parents submitted it for me. I finished everything, they looked it over (new eyes are always good) and they handled the submission part for me! I'm relieved but also nervous because I feel as though I MUSt have forgotten something important...

I didnt get an email confirmation ahhhhhh! Was I supposed to get one the moment I submitted my application online??? Im freaking out!!! Help!!

PS: I do have the right email address!

No, the email confirmation comes a little later. Do not worry.

if you do not get a confirmation mail, i'd say you re-submit the application... I got the mail the very second that i had submitted my app.

i received an email the second after i submitted the app, and then i received another email telling me that they have opened a file for me

it is the difference between princeton app and common app.. if u use princeton app, conformation comes after just seconds.... if u use the common app, it may take a day or two

It felt good when I finally clicked the button.

i feel good by now. but nonetheless, the last hours before finally submitting this piece of sweat felt slightly bewildering... i started questioning the whole proccess... how can a bunch of paper convey you as a person?
