I love those words...
My status was finally updated. And they have my May SAT, Oct. SAT IIs and ACT (I haven't even gotten my ACT scores)... November SAT to (hopefully) come.

I'm really excited. And proud- I'm actually applying to Harvard!
Good luck... may this be the fastest November of your life!

35, now. And yes, finally, all documents received! :D

same here, johnleemk!

the fedex said that my documents have been sent to the destination on Nov.9th, but the online system still showed they have not received my materials.Do they update the site often or should I call to check my application stats??btw, the address is Harvard College/ 86 Brattle street/Cambridge/MA yes? thanks.

That's the right address. I think they update it once a day or something like that. If your materials just arrived, it could take them a while to sort the documents, so the site should be updated appropriately in a couple of business days or so (just a rough estimate - I don't know how Harvard works, just using some common sense which may not be very sensible).

I was freaking out for a moment yesterday because I checked with Swarthmore and they told me they'd received everything already, but Harvard was showing my recommendations as not received. I actually emailed them last night about it. Luckily it seems they fixed it today. Actually, considering how many of us seem to have suddenly gotten our materials marked as received, it could be possible that they update the site in batches - meaning it could take a while longer before they show your materials as in.

DHL showed that my documents were delivered on Nov. 2. Harvard's site didn't show that all documents were received until yesterday. I never called... I guess it takes them time to sort everything out. If I were you, I would just wait a few days. If FedEx says they've been delivered, try not to worry too much.

I posted this in admissions, but not much help there.

For you people who took the Oct SAT and opted to have all your scores sent with the Oct score release, have any of you been able to get your scores through to Harvard yet?? Mine says "request still pending" and it's arggghhhhh. I dunno if I should rush scores (or if that's possible anymore) and college board claims that Oct. scores are sent by 2 day priority... any thoughts??

They got my Oct. scores sometime this week or late last week. Hmmm, I'd email or call Collegeboard and/or Harvard if I was in the same position as you.

About the above address, are you sure that's the correct address? I sent my materials to 8 Garden Street. Is it possible that they have two locations where you can send your materials?

I've never heard of that address before. All the materials I saw indicated that they be mailed to 86 Brattle Street.

Hmm looking at the labels Harvard has on its website, I see that they're all directed to 86 Brattle Street. When I sent my materials in August/September, the labels were still 8 Garden Street. I think it has to do with the admissions office move from byerly hall to agassiz house. So yea 86 Brattle Street is correct.

yeah, when i was having the on-campus interview this summer, the undergrads office was still in 8 Garden street.
and likebigenvelopes, I like your ID;)

yep, they got all my materials. Thanks everyone!

i mailed mine to 8 Garden Street..would they still recieve my application?

Harvard's admissions office has been at 8 Garden Street for years. This summer/fall though, because of the size of the application pool, moved their admissions operations to a bunch of different other buildings at Harvard. The location where applications are received and processed is 86 Brattle Street.

hahah 3434. That is also one of Harvard's sending codes. pretty cool.
