<p>Is a 790 significantly different from a 800 to adcoms? :(</p>
<p>I wouldn’t call it a curse.</p>
<p>A 790 is the same as an 800 to colleges. It says on college board somewhere that the score you get is seen within a range by colleges. So if you get a 750 on any given day you could score 730-770 so you don’t have anything to worry about</p>
<p>Read a MIT admissions dude say that a 750 on math subj test is equivalent to 800, so I think you’re fine haha.</p>

<p>I recall reading something about how an MIT admissions officer said that, as long as you have a 7XX, you’re doing fine.</p>
