Emory College | Current Students | Goodrich C. White Scholarships

So I missed the whole Emory Scholars deadline and such (I wouldn't have made it anyway, my high school record isn't that great). When I get to Emory, I'd like to apply for The Dean's Achievement Scholarship. If you follow the link that I have provided, you will find that they are looking for students who "have demonstrated unusual capability through involvement in the academic and extracurricular life of the Emory community." What exactly are they looking for, what should I be doing if I want to be eligible? As for the extracurricular life requisite, feel free to suggest athletics, but that isn't really something I excel at, so please provide other means to fulfill that area of the requirements.

Thanks for any and all responses.
