Last year there were 3847 early applicants. A recent news article in The Hoya said that the number of early applicants rose 4 percent this year. So, by some simple calculations, one can deduce that there are about 4001 applicants this year. :)

I like to be exact! Therefore, four thousand and ONE. LOL just kidding, I'm not that weird. And I, too, am praying for a 100% CC acceptance rate. Just wishing and hoping,
and thinking and praying, and planning and dreaming... (I hope somebody gets that! :p).

Well, if 23% get in, we're talking 920 acceptances! So we're really a small chunk. I don't see why we shouldn't all get in. I think I got it Dan...(that song, right?)

Woohoo! Someone understands my random allusions.

I gotta question, though: Where'd you get 23%?

PS- if there are 920 acceptances, and we all get in, then that means that CC would account for approximately 3 percent of all accepted students. Cool beans!

On the admissions website, they said they use the amount accepted the last year overall to determine what percentage would get in EA. Last year, Georgetown accepted 23% to all applicants, so this year EA will be 23%.

Haha! You're what I like to call a "lurker." My friend does it, too. She just lurks around the Harvard board, hardly ever posting. It's kind of creepy. Like a stalker or something. ;)

Yeah...I called myself a stalker in my first post, so I don't take any offense at that. Not that you were worried, heh. I don't mean to be so creepy, I just don't always have something to say. Oh well. And I only discovered this site like 2 weeks ago, so I haven't been spying on you guys for months or anything. That would be intensely creepy.

LOL yeah I wasn't being mean or anything. I think it's just kind of funny.

And if you have anything to say at all, just post it! Probably 80% of my posts are meaningless. We're all a happy little Hopeful Hoya family here. :)
