My son got a call from Admissions today Tuesday June 20th at 11:10am and GOT IN THE CLASS OF 2010

Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness!!!!

Thanks you Lord. Thanks all the folks and friends here - - It has been the most trying six months and you all have helped us not give up the dream

Gotta love giving the fleet sailors 8 days, when it took me 2 weeks to check out of my command. Congratulations, what dirty blue shirt legacy are you leaving behind? I am leaving as a ET2. Congrats again and welcome to the revolution. LOL. At least its another fleet sailor.

Hallelujah! Congrats indeed to the lad and his parents. And praise and thanks to the Almighty Admiral!

Thanks too for sharing so openly about some of the imposed barriers that delayed his appointment. Maybe some of the rest of us, read "me", can learn from your open, candid insights.

Here's to Midshipman Lawrence! Safe sailing in the Class of 2010!

And here's that he might be in the face of Midshipman Whistlepiggy, Class of 2011!! ;-)

Wow, another one on the forums gets in right at the last moment! Congrats to your son, my future classmate. I look forward to meeting everyone in the class of '10 in about a week from now!

Congrats!!!!!!!! As I said in my previous post, IT IS NOT OVER UNTIL THE FAT LADY SINGS. I can imagine that you were just as excited as I was when I got that call 2 weeks ago. Determination and perserverance paid off; be sure to carry that with you into the Plebe Summer and the Academic Year. Congrats again, and I will see you on I-DAY.

WEEEEEEEE! Simply awesome. Hurry Hurry! You have to help him get packed! How big are you & Fleet smiling today? And how about that phone line? Have you burned it up yet? WEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Congrats & a ton of them to you guys! I think everyone here was sweating right there along with you. LOL
YAY for Plebes!!
