Can someone please tell me something more about the Finance program at Princeton? Does it have a better/worse reputation than the program in Economics?
Is it possible for students to get a MBA degree after BA in Finance?

ORFE os also good for finance. If you read the course description they say that alot of students go into finance. It helps because you get the basic understanding of finance with a hook that says that you also understand the dundamentals of engineering.

What is ORFE?

You can only get a certificate (minor) in finance. You can get an MBA after any major at all. (Not from Princeton, though; it offers a Master in Finance, but not an MBA.) The finance program is different from the major in economics; the latter is more theoretical. Many of the finance students are doing economics concentrations.

As a student on one panel we went to put it, "I did my concentration in comparative literature, and doing my minor in finance gave me certain tools." She had been hired by Goldman, I believe, for a junior summer internship and, after that, for her first full-time job.

For ORFE: http://www.orfe.princeton.edu/

Thank you!
