Hmmm...well for me, after going through all the drama of rushing to apply ED, getting deffered, preparing slides, having an interview, writing a sappy (but heartfelt) letter, all my test retaking, missing my birthday, homecoming AND the international karate championships for the SATs - I'd probably put on a very satisfied and thankful smile.

Then....promptly about 5 seconds later I would

SCREAM MY HEAD OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

(and look forward to meeting all of you guys)

When I got my thick letter in the mail, I looked at the letter very closely to see if it said "We regret to inform you..." When I saw that it didn't, I hugged my grandfather. Then I went to school the next day and thanked my teacher (a Columbia grad himself) who wrote my recommendation. That was over 25 years ago. Pre-email days, of course.

IDK, I usually don't show that much emotion. I'll probably smile, and do an epic scissor kick after asking my mom to move out of the way. Then I'll sign up ASAP for an admitted students weekend.
