Will anyone tell me the format of a letter about extra awards after summiting my application please?

Haha. Seriously though, there is no particular format recommended. In the letter, just reiterate your desire to attend Columbia and mention the awards/recognitions/grades you've received since your deferral. I mean if you could do it in the form of a song with melody included, that would be fine, too. Don't stress on the format. Just make sure you let them know they'd be lucky to have you.

i think OP is talking about submitting a letter w/ extra awards after submitting a RD application....doesnt say anything about beind deferred. Unless your extra awards are amazing or very important don't bother....i find it hard to believe that you have done something THAT significant since you sent your app jan. 1.

Actually a few significant awards have been presented since then.

OP> I am sending them a letter to let them know I am an Intel Semifinalist. Just use a regular business letter layout. PM me if you want to see my letter.

A regular business letter should work.
