Its subjective because its someone else’s observations and opinion, just as a LOR is subjective, because its not based on measurable data, its not measured against some equal standard. Objective data typically covaries out data that isn’t measured against an equal standard, removing the independent variables.

@jym626 That is the way I interpreted it and would confirm that they are required. I asked bc @cobrat seemed to interpret subjective as optional.

I don’t think the terms “objective” and “subjective” are open to interpretation :slight_smile: A LOR is a classic example of a subjective requirement.
