The Grades are IN!!!!!!!!!!

Again sorry isnce this thread is old but does anyone have any comments on other grades/ECs I am doing
If this helps at all my PSAT score was 196

sorry but bump

Is anybody out there?(sorry this will be my last attempt for an answer

By "really bad," do you mean to say academically? I wouldn't assume socioeconomically because it after all, is still a private school. Well, if your school is, as you say, "really bad," then maybe that will work in your favor as colleges—well, most at least—want to bring diversity to their schools and take in the high achieving kids (not just grades) from bad schools/areas.

And, a 196 on the PSAT isn't that bad. BTW, even if you did well (or better, at least), you'd still be contacted by no-name colleges. Taking the PSAT was the gateway toward massive amounts of spam for both your email and home, lol, and trust me, by the time you get to your senior year, the colleges—especially, no namers—go crazy, sending you updates every week or so and bribing with their "special" application where you don't have to do an essay and your fee is waived and you get priority consideration for scholarships, etc. Well, not to digress too much, but you should apply to at least one no-namer that's persistent. It'll make them happy, and chances are, you won't have to pay anything or write anything, and since their deadlines are early, you'll find out early and you might get really good financial aid for a school you never would have considered otherwise.

By the way, are any of your classes honors/ap and are they weighted? Just curious because CA recently (the beginning of my freshie year—three years ago) passed something where we don't weigh freshmyn and sophomore classes. If they weigh, that'll probably work in your favor because not all schools recalculate your GPA.

Thanks Sneezy!!!!!!!!!

None of my classes are at all weighted, if they were my GPA would be much higher.
Sorry but I think I got you confused when I said really bad-I was talking about the public school I would have had to gone to if i did'nt go to private school.

The high school I go to is okay I just don't think they have a national reputation as good like the private school Phillips Andover.
I admit I am much happier though at my private school than I could have ver been at my public school despite the long commute.
ANy other responses?

Anyone out there?
