Alright, so the quarter closes tomorrow - and these are my grades. :(

AP Environmental Science - 90% (A-)
AP English Language and Composition - 91% (A-)
AP World History - 99% (A+)
Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus Honors - 92% (A-)
Latin III/IV Honors - 105% (A+)
Studio Art Honors - 92% (A-)

Something about the fact that I have 4 A minuses right now really irritates me. AP classes are weighted, so that an A- in an AP class is really an A+ in an Honors class (you add 10 points, essentially) but still. STILL. A minuses are like, B pluses on steroids.

I want your unbridled, "CCer" opinion of my grades. I can handle the truth. Please.

Your grades seem pretty good to me. Honestly, I would be a little disappointed by the A minuses if those were my grades, but I’m really hard on myself. Last year (freshman) I got 3 A minuses and all the rest A’s, and I still regret not trying harder to bring them all up to A’s.
Anyway, I’m assuming you’re a junior?

I have 1 C (76.4 IB English) 3 B’s (80.9 IB French 6, 86.4 Precal, 80.0 IB History), 1 A (92.1 AP Chem) but it’s about to drop to a high B and an 175.4% that should be a C (72 IB Film). Quarter ends next week. I’m screwed. I’m expecting the French and History to stay at B’s. Math to go up. AP Chem to go up. Film to stay at a C and English is a toss-up because he never grades anything. Grrr. History I’m fine with because it’s so hard. Math BETTER go up because it’s my best class. My first C and maybe 2. I’m a Junior so this is bad.

At our school, A-'s in AP courses are weighted as A+'s, so if you have A-'s in AP Courses (like I do in APES and AP English) it isn’t all that bad… but the fact that I have an A- in two honors courses… ouch. :(

If there wasn’t a consequence for profanity on this site, I would be spewing so much foul-mouthed jealousy and hatred at you right now…but seriously, I envy you. A-'s are nothing to worry about. MIT’ll still take you.
