The Graduate...

just watched this movie for my intro to amer film course.

anyways, does anyone often feel unattracted towards a certain career because that is what their parents do, and it seems that under other circumstances the career may be more appealing. (examples: indian becoming a doctor, jewish man becoming an accountant, senators son going into politics and basically any general stereotype)

This seems to be the case with me, as I want my life (as Benjamin says) ... to be different. The idea of becoming a stereotype is just completly appalling to me.

My fave movie...Benjamin, come here Benjamin

Plastic....

To many kids end up startng in college a degree they aren't that suited for and change, but it was what mommy and daddy wanted

..."Are you trying to seduce me Mrs. Robinson"

haha you watched that movie in amer film course!?

But a very very good movie nonetheless.

But I understand what he was saying, except for me I don't want to do a certain career because my sisters do it. My parents don't really have careers. So it's a tad bit different.
