So i understand that ssat scores are a big part of the application process to schools like Groton, but I only did ok on the ssat’s. I got a 2025 in the middle school level, and I scored in the 81 percentile ( I’m applying for eighth grade) but I wrote a really good essay, and I did well on my interview. I am a straight a/a+ student and I am very well rounded. I am writing exams in piano, voice, and dance, I have stared in several theater productions, I have came second in a highschool debate tournement even though I was the youngest person there by four years, and I had twenty four hours to practice. I have participated in several national math competitions, and won one regional writing completion and came second in a national writing completion. I have won gold in a commonwealth side essay competition three years in a row, and I know that my teachers wrote me great references. What are my chances?
What exactly was your score on the verbal, quantitative, and reading sections? You probably have pretty good chances but have Groton ever sent you cards after the interviews?
You seem to include mostly subjective pieces of information here, can you give us more of an objective idea?
@GrotonKid123 Receiving cards after an interview and/or tour means pretty much nothing in terms of getting accepted. Everyone gets those from schools.
As @ 22louisl said, we probably need more information than that.

I just wanted to find out because I was also very interested in Groton
