<p>Everyone should post their top 5 here. I'm curious to see how the lists turn out... the ones people are posting in the 2010 facebook group made me laugh.</p>
<p>I wasn't really sure what I wanted, but i figured that i never would be completely sure so I just put down what was on my mind at the time. I think I'd be fine with either of my top three which were 1. elder, 2. bobb/mcculloch, and 3 allison. I put 2 res colleges 4 and 5 but that was so i could hopefully get one of the top 3. btw right now im in mccormick so i focused on north campus, allison would have been first if i were in wcas (which im considering switching into)</p>

<p>one quick note, if you put Allison anywhere but your first or second choice, you will not get it! It is by far the most requested dorm by freshmen, so if you want to live there, put it as your number 1!!!</p>

<p>Is it safe to say, if I put Allison and Willard as 4 and 5, I will not get them? I don't want to live anywhere south freshman year.</p>
<p>and also, is it true if I fill in Kemper and other jnr/snr only dorms for my last few choices that I'll get my top choice?</p>

<p>hmm, bver for me I had to enter it twice. not sure why, but that's what happened and it worked. yes it's the same as the e-mail login/pass. did you pay your housing deposit?</p>
<p>I don't think you can put Kemper. And if you eff with the system you might get screwed. I know some kids who got placed in dorms they didn't even request... so I wouldn't mess with things like that.</p>
<p>the app doesnt even even give you the option of dorms not available to freshmen. It is a scrolldown list with only those you can apply for.</p>

<p>Again, don't put Allison anywhere but 1 or 2 if you actually want to live there. So yes, it is a safe 4th or 5th choice if you really don't want to live south.</p>
<p>If I put Sargent 5th, how likely am I going to end up there? And what about Elder as 5th??</p>
<p>I would really like to live in a social dorm where I can party, Bobb would probably be too party oriented. On the other hand, I'd rather live in a party dorm than in a really boring or anti-social dorm.
I would also prefer sotuh campus to north campus.</p>

<p>Sanja, it probably doesn't make a difference, but you sound like you'd be happier in Elder so I'd go with that. No sense trying to screw the system, just come up with 5 dorms you'd be happy with.</p>

<p>That depends, if you're applying for other res colleges, then don't write anything about Jones in your essays, and you probably won't get it.</p>
