I kind of forget what order i put down but i got Allison so I'm happy. Apparently i'm in a single because i have no roomates and occupants = 1. I definitely didn't request that but i guess its good and bad. I didn't even think that there were singles in allison.</p>
<p>Yeah the roommate was included in the contract. Make sure you got assigned to a double</p>
<p>I'm in Foster-Walker--a single :( That wasn't even in my top five, but oh well. I like how on the website it says something to the effect of "If you're an incoming freshman and we assigned you to a dorm that was not one of your preferences, then we were sure to put you with a roommate that seemed to have similar interests" or something like that, and they put me alone. Haha.</p>
<p>Haha ironic, isn't it.. I was wondering about that when I read it too, cause I don't recall ever revealing many of my interests to NU.. besides that I don't smoke..</p>

<p>Stauch I too am in allison and there was a blank spot for my roomate. However in Allison there are no singles, all the rooms are doubles and triples and on the housing appliacation I specefically requested not to have s single So Im wondering whast going on.</p>

I wrote 2 lines for the reason, and I thought I wouldn't get my first choice</p>
<p>ai...i'm sooo not happy with my assignment. first off, i got a single, which wouldn't be so bad if i was in my top choice, but i'm not. i got Jones and that kind of artsy atmosphere was one of the main reasons i didn't go to one of my other college choices.</p>
<p>but whatever, i'll get over it and maybe learn to enjoy it. if not, i'm gonna try my best to switch out of there.</p>
