Hello. I'm wondering how important Latin is in the eyes of Ivy League admissions officers.
For example:

Is winning 1st overall academic at National JCL convention valued at the same level as other national accolades such as USAMO INTEL SIEMENS etc? Overall awards are whoever gets the most points in the given field. For example, in academics you win overall 1st if you get the most points on Vocab, Myth, Roman History, Grammar, Derivatives. Decathlon, Heptathlon, Mottoes Quotes Abrev, Roman Life, Geography, Classical Art, Latin Literature, Greek Derivs, Greek Vocab, Reading Comprehension, Etc. Usually the 1st place overall will score about 4/5 1st places, 3/4 2nd places, 3/4 3rds.

How about state convention? Say you win 1st place overall academic or combined at state JCL.

Also, Certamen? Certamen is basically quiz bowl/ academic decathlon for Classics i.e. roman history, mythology, etymology, buzz in to timed toss ups. Say your team captain of the 1st place National team. How about state? Also, how good is MVP on an app?

Also, say you get the 'high score' award at Nationals. How good is that? High score as in, highest score in the given area. Especially if your a lower-class-man and you beat out the upper-class-men at some test.

Lastly, there's the National Latin Exam and the new tests coming out (Roman Civilization, Medusa Mythology, Etymology)
Since basically everyone takes the NLE and about 1/2 the people get golds and silvers, is this any important? I have a feeling that winning comps. at the NJCL convention is more important than scoring well on the NLE. Anyhow, would getting perfect scores on the NLE help at all. I know that getting multiple perfect scores on the NLE is tantamount to some special award i forgot the name of ...

Thanks to all in advance.
