The Importance of Siemens SF in Admissions

<p>How much of an impact would being named a Siemens SemiFinalist be in admissions at Stanford?</p>

<p>Other than that I have a 3.7 at a rigourous public magnet, 2200, and a some very unique E.Cs (I play two indian instruments and I am the chair of a One Laptop Per Child chapter, which is also the first high school chapter acknowledged by the foundation.)</p>

<p>Not that much, those competitions are worth less than you might think (mentor does everything, student takes credit, etc. etc.)</p>
