The Indian class of 2021 Results Thread! [EA/ED/RD]

@liteneasy Oh my God, thank you so much for those links! I’ll actively look at all those scholarships. You’re the absolute best

Thanks for the University of Melbourne tip and thank you for everything else! Good luck for anything you’re doing too

[]Look at Swinburne and Deakin Universities in Australia; they offer scholarships. Deakin will easily give you 25%, which brings the cost of tuition down to 21k AUD per year.
[
]There’s also James Cook University that also has a campus in Singapore (which offers two year degrees as opposed to three years in Australia; this greatly cuts living costs).
[]Every year, there’s also Australia Awards scholarships, which is unfortunately not available in 2017 (otherwise I’d have chosen Australia over US). Maybe you can take a gap year and wait.
[
]Also look at U Waterloo, Simon Fraser U, and U Victoria in Canada; they have co-op programs.
[li]Germany has no tuition fee, even for international students. If you take a gap year and can learn German (you’ll need to take exam/s), then it is the best option.[/li][/ul]
I’ll be funding my education through loans.

@InfiniteLibrary thanks, glad to be of help. Do exercise caution and be on your alert as you explore these scholarship options, and avoid paying any application fee for scholarships etc. below article to refer regarding scholarship scams …

@mundanewarrior @liteneasy I hadn’t explored outside of US (mainly because I thought I would study in India otherwise) - but you guys have given me great tips! I wish I could thank you more!
I will keep trying for the options you all suggested - although I won’t be taking a gap year for several personal reasons.

THANK YOU!

@InfiniteLibrary
Yeah, and I already gave a few Indian colleges to look at. If I were you, I would make Ashoka University my #1 priority. Keep the deadlines in mind.

Hey, how much time did it take for you guys to get your ACT scores back? I gave the April 8 ACT. The first batch of scores was released on April 18 but I am still waiting. Any ideas when I might get my scores?

@k_03 You probably would get more replies in an ACT based thread

@InfiniteLibrary None of the Indians there seem to have gotten their scores yet.

@k_03 Sorry, I don’t know much about the ACT so I can’t really help you much.

Have you tried contacting the officials? It’s probably just a glitch

@Shloak does NCSU give scholarship to internationals? I read on their website that we aren’t eligible for any kind of aid and/or scholarship?

@IamINTP @InfiniteLibrary @SetuShah10 Are you guys still there? Is this thread even active?
