<p>Honestly, if you just consider his stats on paper, and if he does require $200,000+ in financial aid, then yes, your post has some substance. But he seems like a passionate guy, and if this has come off well in his applications, who knows what can happen. Plus hes applied to 19 unis. <p>I have to say that not only are your takes on ajayc's chances completely unsolicited, but they are the most dampening, depressing, demoralizing posts that I have seen on CC. I don't know what your agenda is, but you really seem to get a kick out of taking depressing digs at other people's chances.</p>
<p>Since you have at least the magnanimity of putting yourself in ajayc's shoes as well ("This is our, not just ajac's, sad reality"), I assume that you are seeking admission to US college/s yourself. So, instead of copying and pasting your many takes on ajayc's chances on different CC threads, why don't you list your colleges and chance yourself, with as much brutal realism that you have shown in ajayc's case? Let the blinding light of the "truth revealed" shine on you as well.</p>

<p>as for aid, I'm not too sure...I was under the impression that one needs to be pretty outstanding both grades and ECs wise to secure a full ride...and besides if u could file 20+ applications which probably costed a bomb, u shouldnt be too far down the social ladder in which case, I would have explored the option of taking up loans to finance my education for at least some of the 20+ colleges instead of applying for aid to all of them</p>
<p>nevertheless, great ECs there and gl...applications these days do boil down to quite abit of luck anyway =)</p>
