Rip mj:(

Oh no, lets not say that in front of Quasi…

Oh and thank you, Quasi!

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH enough with STUPID MICHAEL JACKSON ALREADY!!!

stupid?lol. He was a legend.People framed things against him in my opinion.Hes done so much charity and achieved so much:)

No offence. But mj was a superhero of pop and break dance, man. You cant call him stupid. Im a diehard fan of him.

Amazing pop star and dancer, not such an amazing individual. That’s my conclusion.

I agree with tetris about the individual part. Don’t like his music AT ALL, but know there’s plenty who do, so skipping that part…And Gurung, * you * being a diehard fan is no reason for * me * to appreciate him, is it?

Also, my use of stupid as an adjective was due to reasons that only tetris will understand due to my semi-ranting on Facebook - I’m just SO TIRED of hearing about his death from class sixes (and sundry others) who act like they’re devastated by the news even though they’ve never listened to any of his music. I feel like they’re just trying to be in the ‘in’ mood of the moment. It just seems fake.

Or maybe I’m just in my Caulfield mood. :(

Oh, thankfully my class sixes haven’t put up statuses like that. Bwah.

Caulfield?

MJ’s death reminds me of this quote from “Dark Knight”: You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

MJ was the biggest wierdo on the face of this planet. Great Music, Great Moves, Not So Great Pedophilia.

Exactly, bigcheese, exactly. And I love that quote!

Holden Caulfield.

Haven’t seen Dark Knight, but like the words. Which one is MJ though - the villain or the hero?

MJ’s a bit of a hybrid, to be honest. Paedophiles can’t exactly be classified as heros, but pop revolutionaries can’t be grouped with villains.

WATCH THE DARK KNIGHT! Christopher Nolan’s awesome direction + Fantastic dialogue + Heath Ledger’s amazing performance + Christian Bales hotness = the perfect package :p.

Catcher In The Rye. Ah, a book that I’ve never read yet have heard much about ;)

Well, to be honest the theme is better than the book itself. ;)

Aw. RIP Heath Ledger was a status message I jumped on the bandwagon about (with? Not sure!) It’s definitely on my list of movies to watch before I die.

I want to start a new TiT…lets do it please !!!

Nooo 1st of July…and we must all be in agreement okay? Don’t go off and start it without everyone agreeing!

New TiT already? The previous one lasted 428 days!

heyyy! quick question! (:

just a random discussion a friend and i had…

say, if i want to come back to india (or anywhere else in asia, for that matter) after getting my undergrad degree, would i have better job prospects if i do my degree from UCLA (computer science and engg + maybe a minor/double-major in mathematical econs) or from NUS (computer engineering + university scholars’ programme + 100% scholarship + might take a double degree with a BBA (as likely or unlikely as the minor/double-major at UCLA)… so whatsay? :)

oh- and in terms of job-prospects at the biggies and starting salaries ONLY! (: (:

No idea, dude.

Oh, fine, let’s start the new TiT whenever. But we need IndianThread to roll by.
