who are you kidding Game. You'll rather have him at Man U than Imperial. Dude At imperial you get to spend an year abroad at MIT

So what..? It's not like they write in on your degree - it's just an experience. If he wanted an experience, he would have tried an LAC. He didn't. So manch is the best option for me.

theGame, come on, stop with your assumptions.

He wants to do Chemical Engineering. Barely any LACs offer it.
And how does the fact that he didn't apply to an LAC evidence of the 'fact' that he doesn't want an experience, and just a name? It's not, right son?

I'd say hit the US universities, including Purdue if UM / USC turn you down. A tough fight there with Imperial College I'd say.

Never mind the rest of them really.

If you don't get in anywhere new I'd go to Purdue.

Imperial is nice.

Is anyone else feeling really jittery, all of a sudden?

yes :/

Is anyone else feeling really jittery, all of a sudden?

yes :/

Is it worth spending full fare to go to an LAC ???

(I want the Indian perspective.No fun without desipann !!! :) )

Hey everyone!...
Why are you going for a gap year, Gregory??..

Any indians here who have applied to ASU for fall 09?

Any likely letters?

Hey
I already am in the middle of my gap year, not going for it now. I decided so for a number of reasons, but primarily because I hadn't applied to the states, but only to UK - and I wanted to dual major, something not very easy to do in the UK system at all.

I'm in class 11 from City Montessori School, Lucknow. Which APs should I take?
I'll just be appearing for the exams in NASR Hyderabad.
Aiming for Ivy League and above with nuclear physics, or simply physics as my first choice for undergraduate course. I don't really have too many people to guide me so I'm out here lol. I heard that for a good college you must have something like 7 APs? And someone said that you should just concentrate on 2-3 and do well in them. At the moment I'm thinking of going for Physics C(Mech) Stats Chem and Calc BC
I wanted Computers as well but thats in the same slot as Calc in the late scheduling. If I got for regular schedule, I'll have to travel twice to Hyd, for 2 days of exams each time. Seeing as Hyd. is far far away from Lucknow, I was worried about missing IIT-JEE coaching and stuff.
Besides I'm confused when our KVPY summer training camp is? Hope it doesn't interfere with the exams. The guys at IISc are too lazy to respond to my mail....
HELP! lol

Hello everyone!!

I am an undergraduate engineering applicant. I got selected to a few Universities. I am looking for either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. My primary lookout are the finances can't spend much!! so could not apply to many top ranking Universities :-( and co-op. All the listed schools had come over for a fair and I selected them.

My schools are:

Mississippi State University
Florida Institute of Technology
Rochester Institute of Technology
West Virginia University
Drexel University

Please advise me as to which one would ideally meet my needs. I will be really grateful for your help!!

As a matter of fact, no one can tell you which college meets your need. You should try searching each college's website and see if it fulfill you needs. You should even go for telephonic inquiries.

hey..happy Holi to everyone
