So, as I've read .. the faculty at fordham is very nice. I went in there today for my audition and there were snacks and everything. but ... when it was time to do my audition .. I went inside the room, I told them the names of my two pieces, recited them. and then .. :( one of the judges asked.. "what other schools are you auditioning for?" and I said.. Tish, Pace, and Purchase. And he said, "Okay, next time try to look at a specific object rather than looking at us while you perform because looking at us forces us to react to what your saying" . And, I said "Okay.. would you like me to do it again?" and he said "No thats fine" ...

I didnt get in, right?

Don't sweat it, it doesn't mean you didn't get in, he was probably just trying to be helpful so that you'd know for your other schools - it's usually a general rule for auditions to find a spot somewhere over the judges head so that you don't look at them, it sometimes makes them feel uncomfortable.

Just keep it in mind for your other auditions!

wow. you have nerves to be able to audition like that.

I've done international public speaking etc in front of an auditorium full of ppl but never would i be able to have the guts to act in front of college faculty 0 _o that takes a lot of courage so be proud of yourself !

I agree with laughxindoors: he was probably just trying to be helpful
