Yeah, that's a lot of really good schools cut from the list...

i forgot about u penn... i'd go there. this might sound unreasonable, but i don't like the architecture style of stanford. and USC is a fine school too, but ever since i was a kid, i've been a bruin fan. i wouldn't go to the south mainly because of the humid weather, which i can't stand. my reasons are mostly determined by the physical attributes of the schools and their environment so, don't take me too seriously.

Pensacola Christian College

I think they win for crazy religious schools. Wooooow.

Honestly, take a look. It's insane.

Pensacola Christian College...is this school for real??? lol Is it a joke like landover baptist church????? This place seems more like a juvenile correctional facility than a college.

That doesn't seem very formal to me. More like a satire, so yeah, it's probably a joke.

Ahh, I see. The website was an unofficial newspaper about how opressive Pensacola Christian College is. It is not affiliated with the school.

HAHAHA. Look at these rule from Pensacola Christian College:

You may not wipe "boogers" on the wall. This is being cracked down on.

*
No:

Automotive repair on campus.

Horseplay. This is completely subjective and can be for anything from loudness to throwing a pillow.

"Indirect Horseplay." This appears to be watching "horseplay" from a distance without doing anything to stop it/being entertained by it.

Possession of an electric guitar or amplifier.

"Cracking" the communion cups.
*

:)

I can't imagine who would want to go there--it's like middle school only stricter and stupider.

that's a joke site... school sites always end with ".edu"

I think the college really exists http://www.pcci.edu/ . This is the official website.

The college really exists, but it's not accredited.

hey did anyone apply to bob jones this year? i almost forgot. is the deadline over? i wanted to apply but i forgot to apply.

Anywhere in Florida. Planned on applying to UM, UF, and FSU but decided it wasn't worth it for me. I only sent in an app to USF as a safety (accepted months ago). I miss the NE and don't care much for certain attitudes I've seen from the people here. Not everyone, but enough.

Woo! Another floridian florida hater. I didnt apply anywhere in state either :)

Cornell - from what I know of it, the atmosphere is exactly the opposite of what I like. A large school where you get lost, competitive instead of friendly academics, a preprofessional sort of focus, and the people just didn't seem either that intellectual or that friendly. Just.... ugh, so not for me.

Religiously Affiliated - Their packets were immediately thrown in the trash
Military
Juliard - I am artistically challenged
Florida - Too hot for me
SUNY Buffalo - 8hour drive one way from my house and it's in the middle of nowhere

they are lame D1 schools. With the exception of like hockey, crew, and lax... most D3 schools can kill the Ivies in any sport, especially cream them in their so called "D1" football.

You guys are idiots. Ivy league football is I-AA but pretty only plays themselves. THe best team each year is almost always in the Top 25 I-AA, usually the top teams are.

some religous schools
Service Academys(somethings i liek about but no PLEASE!!!!)
Sunys..yuck
NYIT(worst school ever and a remake of my private school!)
colleges to far north...TO COLD Im cold in the winter on LonG island god
Long island schools

Texas Southern University. Average graduation rate = 8%?!?!?

Central Connecticut State University - it might be great but a lot of people from my school end up going there.

I wouldn't go to West Point, but my boyfriend is heading there June 26 so from his perspective, I understand why you would submit yourself to to all that.

And in defense of CT people - it's regional, and even in Fairfield County, not everyone is stuck up (I hope).
