The Last Place You'd Ever Go...

90%+ of schools with the word Florida in them

soccerguy315, no HSC for you?

soccerguy i agree about the VA thing... I live here too and there are good schools But I think I'd pay the 30,000 + and go to Vanderbilt over UVA, if not just because of the monotony of the place(UVA)...but I don't think I'd pay it over WM

HSC is for golfers or sad, preppy boys who can't get in anywhere else.
lol...sorry any HSC fans, I know a few guys who go there and some of them like it ...I'm just generalizing ;)

But if you had to earn the money yourself to pay for your tuition, instead of your parents, it would probably be another issue.

indeed............

I would definitely not go to Harvard. I mean c'mon. That school is just pathetic.....jk.....

Bob Jones University, because that place creeps me out.

In response to whoever said life in the Midwest was slow ... it's definitely not, at least not in IL.

Even though I love Chicago to death, the school I'd least like to go to is UChicago.

Life in the midwest is slowER than on the coasts. For instance, we still pop our collars. But "slow" isn't the word. Unless you're talking rural. Coastal people can't seem to understand the difference between MIDWESTERN and RURAl. Viva Lawrence.

Schools I'd never go to:
-Service Academies
-Anything ending in "Tech"
-Art or music schools
-Anything in the northeast

I don't think I'd go to a Florida school...

very right about the paying for your own college thing. Wasn't really thinking when I said that

Rider University-

Mad close to my home, terrible campus, and i think its worse than my community college.

UF, FSU, UCF.. the unholy trinity at my school.
Everyone relocates there! Ugh.

rutgers... a school close to home where i'd be seeing the same high school people all over again? no thanks!

lionswim -- come on, the northeast is the best! i love it here and would definitely pick a northeast university over anything else :)

you cant call rutgers the LAST place you'd ever go, lol. i mean, it beats ur community college.

community college doesn't count!

Rutgers - Same reason as superchica. Plus, even though I love my sister, I don't want to risk rooming next to her for two years :P.

Rider - Same reason as An0nym0u5 (who are you?!?)

Penn State - Again, too many people from my school, and not that great anyway.

Princeton - Okay, someone is going to yell at me for this (probably An0nym0u5). I just wouldn't be able to stand living two minutes from where I am right now. I'd go to the same mall, the same movie theater, and the same restaurants. AHH!

American - My sister goes to GW. I can't go through college hating her :P.

UMDCP - It was my sister's #1 choice, and she got waitlisted. I'd feel like crap if I went there.

lol theoneo, i had the same reason for princeton (hint to my identity: i didnt apply early, i am north '05, my name is not peter or alex). in fact, my #1 choice was stanford. but visiting princeton on admit weekend really makes a difference, its a world away when you live there. plus there are bonuses to living so close to home, lol (as in, whenever you need something).

You won't find the work load any lighter at Stanford or Berkeley, and their loads are probably heavier than some of the Ivies,

anywhere north of the mason-dixon line :)

What's wrong with Florida?
