Actually, one kid over on the WashU boards got a likely letter THIS year from Dartmouth...but got waitlisted by WashU haha.

and ChandlerBing, nooo it's really not. They literally waitlist about 15,000 people. I could've written my essay on cowpies and still gotten on the waitlist.

Congrats IndiaRubber and MAJOR congrats hookem. Looks like even if we get rejected from the Ivies we can still go to UT in one of the honors programs (I got into engineering honors with almost a full ride).

^ lol, thanks. I feel a little silly sometimes because "Plan II" sounds like a "Plan B" major or something, for kids who didn't fully get in hahaha. I'm always like "no, I swear, it's a really prestigious liberal arts program!" I'm pretty happy about it :D

Guys, who called for Starcraft? Get your butts on iCCup and play me. NOW NOW NOW!!

Yeah, I got deferred. Now I basically know I got rejected since my interviewer told me I wasn't good fit for Yale. To be prefectly honest though, I didn't really like him that much either. xP.

But Starcraft > Yale (Yes, I did say that. Ohhhh FlameWar!). iCCup everyone. Do it!

Congratulations, hookem! I know as little about Texan schools as I know about USC, but it sounds great! Good job! o:

nurses Collegehopefull's head

What, pray tell, is an iCCup? Written so close to "butts" only one, dark, horrendous, scarring memory of a video forced upon me by my last roommate comes to mind.

I had a weird dream last night. I dreamed some letter from a university in the US was delivered to a neighbor in my apartment building. I knew his name but he didn't exist. Didn't live in my house at least, so I spend the whole night looking everywhere because I wanted that letter. Even in my dream I felt that it must be a decision from my rolling admissions school.

After I woke up I was pretty disappointed, I wanted that decision so bad. About 20 minutes after getting up, the Bell rang and some guy delivered a very thin letter to me. I was sure that it was a rejection that I totally overlooked the Congratulations on the envelope. :D
I am accepted to Quinnipiac University. I don't know if I'll be able to attend though, it didn't say anything about financial aid. But still, I'm positive that for the next few days wherever I go there'll be a huge grin on my face.

I have never really though about schools that weren't in the eastern half of the US, which was the reason why I had never really heard about UT-Austin :)

Starcraft is pretty good, but nothing compares to warcraft (not WOW, I could never justify paying $15 a month and having my face glued to screen 24/7). I've had warcraft for a couple of years and it still never gets old. But I have to admit, from what I've seen, Starcraft II is looking to be a great game.
