The Magical ( and somewhat Official) Yale RD Countdown Thread

I just figured out why there were so many rejections on the MIT board: They simply weren't active enough! No way will so many regular posters be rejected from Yale. I got to start posting more.

I'm starting to wonder if that's the trick, hipster.

I mean, it seems like the top guns, posting wise, all got into Stanford EA. So maybe it's a matter of moxie.

Or they just had 2400's, which raised their odds to the very desirable coin-flip levels.

Either way, though...

moxie.....

luv that word!

anyways, agree with both of you guys, we seem to show a similar passion for CC as we show for our top colleges, and it shows that we give... a lot of our time hahahaha

^ So true.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal

^ Brilliance.

14 Days, 23 Hours and 38 minutes. And then poof.

IndiaRubber, i just discovered that site! SOOOOOO FUNNY!

ah, IndiaRubber, nothing beats explosm.net though on the webcomic level. ;)

and may I say that you guys are a ridiculously entertaining bunch.

Mesquite_girl24: Isn't it just? My boyfriend and I act the comic-scenes out to fill awkward silences.

limetime: explosm.net is excellent

In response to a few posts up...panache is wayyyyyyyyyy better than moxie ;)

limetime: So you found the most uber-awesome thread on the entire CC website!

Wow, I guess I don't stalk the Yale forum quite enough to be able to get in two posts in 3 pages of a thread... jeesh
You guys are ridiculously active, haha.
I personally think all of us should get into Yale, but I'm really disheartened about my chances. I got into Brandeis today (woot...?) but they barely gave me any merit aid (only 2500 dollars a year, absolutely nothing) so if I wasn't strong enough to get good merit at a school like Brandeis, I'm very sure that I won't be getting any Ivy acceptances.

But, on a much more cheerful note, I completely support the nametag idea!
I think more than a few people are going to be slightly weirded out by a "Hi My Name Is ChandlerBing" nametag, lmao.
They might think I'm just a LITTLE too into Friends :)

ChandlerBing that is really poor logic. Brandeis is not about to give out aid to anyone, considering the financial trouble they're in.

And sev, it's okay. You don't have to be ashamed that you like my shleenis. I get it all the time.

@ChandlerBing: haha I actually used to hang around here QUITE a lot before SCEA decisions came out. When I got deferred, I just turned my site on lurking on other boards, but somehow I am inexplicably drawn back here again as the result date approaches....and congrats about Brandeis! :)

@areyouserioussss: I think you'll probably need more than just your shleenis to impress the ladies here on the Yale board. ;)

^ True dat. We men have to display prowess with both our shleenises and our minds! lmao

^We also quite like pleasant faces. Perhaps more than these "shleenises" you speak of.

Pretty boy > Ron Jeremy.

Well, in daylight, at least.

lol @ "in daylight"

Yeah, I like to think I'm OK. Butternut can testify to my looks (or lack thereof).

I guess it is, haha.

Though I have to admit, the whole shleenis schtick made me LOL pretty hard.
Good work ;)

Oh and, in addition, Butternut, IndiaRubber, AND limetime can all testify on just how ridiculously sexy (or not) I am.

I think I just got you beat, hookem.
:)

Actually, I too can testify, hookem ;)

ChandlerBing: You are as ridiculously sexy as ridiculously sexy gets!

Oh yeah, that's right! Well, ladies, Chandler and I will be auctioning off our bodies at a later date...lol

"Male:
areyouserioussss

ChandlerBing

Female:

Me=Pomegranate!
Butternut"

excuse me but i happen to be a very straight, heterosexual, healthy, vivacious, eccentric male

and you forgot an "!"

...humph

well... you did want to be a pomegranate.... hee hee
