The Milton Academy (hollaback) thread

Well, you definitly shouldn't say hollaback when driving the mercedes your daddy bought for you

Who cares? Seriously?

Could anyone else give me more info on Milton? Also, if Exeter is math and science, Milton is liberal arts, and andover is a balance, what are Deerfield and SPS?

how OLD is this topic? August 8th? should have started a new topic..lol, just kidding:)

how did you know exeter is math and science, Milton is liberal arts, and andover is a balance anyways?

I've heard the same about Andover, Exeter, and Milton, too. :)

I think SPS is known for its humanities and foreign language programs.

it's common knowledge. I thought you would've known, frenchv!!!

Are there any like schools that aren't art schools that have really strong music program That anyone knows?

i think it’s more fair to say that…

exeter is more balance towards math/science, but it’s creative writing program is also one of the best

milton is definitely an artist and liberal art school, and it’s well known that it’s performance art program is heads and shoulder above most other BS and it’s writing program (as well as other liberal arts like history) are famous and turns out a lot of award writer every year. But, you can take science/math classes at harvard and mit thru milton, and milton also just got a brand new new science building and we were told they are definitely building the math and science program

andover is probably both exeter and andover combined and is good at everything. however, exeter and andover are like small colleges and is “not the right school for every kid”, versus a school like milton (and hotchkiss) are definitely more nurturing than exeter and andover. nothing wrong with any of these schools, but their culture are definitely different – exeter and andover is more like harvard grad school (more swim or sunk, unless you take the initiative to ask for help) vs. milton and hotchkiss is more like stanford grad school (system in place to catch people who are struggling and offer help and “most” (though not all from what i know) really make it a point to spend time and nurture students)
