<p><em>TEAR</em>: When Harry walks into the Headmaster's office after killing Voldemort, and all the former headmasters gave him a standing ovation (for w/e reason, I coulld picture it perfectly in my mind</p>

<p>SADDEST: When Harry thought he was walking to his death and just remembering everything about Hogwarts.</p>
<p>AWED: How Dumbledore was not afterall infalliable</p>

<p>Actually thinking back on it, it was REALLY surprising that Petunia wanted to attend Hogwarts too and was just bitter all along.</p>

<p>(All I know from HP comes from movies. Yet, it seems weird to me).</p>
<p>MOMENT OF ENLIGHTENMENT: Watching Snape's memories</p>
<p>QUOTE: Snape - "Look at me" and Mrs. Weasley's "Not my daughter..."</p>
<p>SURPRISE: Talking to Dumbledore face to face again</p>
<p>NON-SURPRISE: Ron and Hermoine kissing and Ginny and Harry ending up together after all.</p>
<p>SWEET: The rehabilitation of Kreacher</p>
<p>WOOT: Neville with the sword, way to go!!</p>
<p>SADDEST: Fred's death (funny people should NEVER DIE. I cried for Fred, for George losing his identical half and the idea of George having to carry on the future of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes by himself)</p>
<p>AWED: (ok, i read this one "leak" online, where it was extraordinarily detailed, complex, JKR's style and rather similar to the real Deathly Hallows. My friends and I think it was perhaps a very initial draft of deathly hallows, perhaps. anyhow, there was one part where half the wizarding pop. is trapped in the ministry of magic by voldemort and the death eaters, and harry is so angry he channels his grief and anger into a spell that shattered all the windows/opened the doors. i was absolutely impressed, bcuz im tired of the idea that harry always scrapes by on account of luck, love, and friends. one issue i had with voldy's defeat was that it was pure luck that harry had malfoy's wand. i would have really liked harry to use his love PLUS great magic powers to overcome voldy instead. plus there was an extraordinary part in this "draft" where fleur kills greyback to avange her husband's injuries. awesome kickass moment, way better than when molly kills bellatrix in actual book)</p>
<p>but since it didn't happen, i guess my awed moment is when neville tells voldemort, "i'll join you when hell freezes over" and then decapitates nagini. </p>
<p>"WOOT!": when ron punches malfoy and yells, "that's the second time we've saved your life tonight, you two-faced bastard!" PLUS when neville tells harry that the death eaters went after his gran and "they bit off more than they could chew. dawlish is still in the hospital"</p>
<p><em>TEAR</em>: When harry talks to the ghosts of his parents, sirius, and lupin, and lupin says, "i'm sorry i will never get to know him (teddy lupin)...but he will know why i died and i hope he will understand..."</p>
<p>"I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN!": Ron and Hermione, duh, though i was hoping otherwise. and ginny and harry, though i so hated them pairing, i even wrote my first and ONLY HP fanfic where harry dumps ginny. and voldy's death, and harry's brief "beyond the realm" nap, because in the fake/initial "draft" i read, the exact same thing happened (grins sheepishly)</p>
<p>WTH Moment: Dumbeldore having his plan end with harry sacrificing himself after he 'cared' for harry.</p>

<p>SADDEST: Lupin and Tonk's death knowing that Teddy'll be without parents</p>
<p>AWED: Ron leaving Harry and Hermione.</p>
<p>"WOOT!": When Harry, Ron, and Hermione escaped the Ministry</p>
<p><em>TEAR</em>: When all the people who Harry cared about came out of the stone.</p>
<p>"I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN!": Voldemort dying.</p>

<p>"BIG TWIST THAT WAS SOMEWHAT ANTICIPATED WHICH ALSO HAPPENED TO BE REALLY HEARTWARMING:" Harry learns that Snape has been on the side of light all along, and that Snape has fought in Lily's memory until his death.</p>
<p>MOMENT TO BRING THE SERIES TOGETHER: When at the end Riddle uses Avada Kedavra and Harry uses Expelliarmus. At that point I just thought, JK Rowling is a damn good writer, and really knows her ****. It is foreshadowed, that Explliaarmus is Harry's signature move, even in the face of death he chooses to disarm rather than kill. Dumbledore speaks wisely when he says, "Harry, you are the Master of Death."</p>
<p>I think that this book was closer to literature than any of her others (of course, because it wrapped up the series, this book is the one that you get all the themes of the series to come out).</p>

AWED: Snape's tale
"WOOT!": Ron's return/when he saved Harry, Ron and Hermione's kiss
<em>TEAR</em>: "Stay close to me..." (Harry to his mother's spirit as he walks to face Voldemort)

BEST QUOTE: "Look at me" (Snape to Harry), Fred and George's bantering about ear-based humor after George's ear gets cut off</p>

AWED: How likable Kreacher became. And how every single sentence of the book was amazing.
WOOT: The escape from Malfoy Manor, Neville cutting off Nagini's head, or the students standing up to protect Harry.
<em>TEAR</em>: Dobby. The house-elf had the saddest death haha.
"I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN!": "I open at the close" referring to Harry's death. And Voldemort dying, I don't think that surprised anyone.
BEST QUOTE: "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BIT©H!" She said what we were all thinking, or at least what I was thinking during "Malfoy Manor."
COULDN'T SEE THAT COMING EVEN IF YOU HAD WHACKED ME IN THE FACE WITH IT: The whole Deathly Hallows and Dumbledore side stories. Where were they in the last six books??</p>

<p>I think everyone's favorite quote was mrs.weasley's. It was just so OMG!!!! it wasn't expected from her!!!! I'm glad she killed bellatrix. :D</p>
