The New Official Study Book?

Has anyone tried the new CB book yet? The one published in august I mean? I have the old one from 2000 and was just wondering whether they have completely new tests in the new one. Cos if they don't, it would be a waste to buy the new one.

they change the tests in each new edition, I think.

um... how sure are you?

well, why else would they make a new edition? they can't really "revise" the content of the same tests. If you're unsure, why not just go to the bookstore, look at the questions on the tests and see if they are the same as the one in your edition.

cos I dont live in the states, so I'd have to order

the book has "recently administered tests." and i checked, the questions aren't the same. go ahead and bye it ;]

ducttape, did you look at the conversion table? Why is it so different from the old one. My son took the practice tests for both versions and the difficulty was about the same but the conversion table was way harder to get 800 for the new version. Do you know why there is a big difference?
Thanks

Got it now... the curving seems to be a lot more lenient, maybe its getting easier... or rather I hope, ^^

I bought it, seems good.

pearfire which test did you look at ? chem curve is much harder

Chem looks killer.

maybe it's an easier test? oO i wouldn't really know sorry --'

I just bought it like a day ago, dont have the old ones to compare thought but i am pretty sure they change the tests (cause otherwise there is no point in releasing new editions cause all the book really has is tests.)
