well...from your username i can see why you got a 100 on the math b... lol...but im like a terrible test taker...my transcript is really funny...i get 100s in my classes and then ::BOOM:: a 80 on the flippin regents...

xjayz...what did u do to get into harvard??? fill in the high school students!!! please!! wat SAT IIs...APs...ECs...Awards? and SAT scores

What school do you attend? Anyway, I can't tell you how I got in. I just showed passion for my ECs and tried my best in high school.

any ivy league except for dartmouth...i wanna go to jhu or stanford...or out of country cambridge or oxford

What school do you go to?

its a brand new school...my class will be the first to graduate...its the Queens High School of Teaching

where did u go to?

I don't want to say for private reasons.

if ne body need help with physics go to www.shascience.com one of my teachers from my school made this website- the pratice questions are great

wat about math b?

regentsprep.org helps a lot. so does those regents books from barron's.

lol i refuse to study for physics. im a senior and i dont have to. or at least thats what im telling myself

i have chem tomorrow and i am NOT studying

i like this thread

i'm also taking chem.. and im too lazy to study

honestly, the test is easy anyway

You'll be surprised at how easy the Regents' actually are. I was a B- chemistry student all year and then managed a 91 on the exam. Same with Physics, except I was a B+ student there. I'll demonstrate.

Subject: Regents Grade/Approximate class average all year

Earth Science: 96/B
Biology: 92/A-
Math A: 95/B+
Chemistry: 91/B or B-
French: 100/A+
World History: 99/A-
Math B: 78 (yeah I know...)/B+
Physics: 91/B+
U.S. History: 99/A+
English: 96/A

So, you'll see that the Regents is generally easier than the average honors class. Don't be worried about math or physics either--they have bad reputations all over the place. Kids in my school who got 780s on the SAT II couldn't even break an 85. The highest grade we had one year was a 91 (not my year though, unfortunately haha). Don't fret.

"i'm also taking chem.. and im too lazy to study" <werd (i never say werd.... oh well)

my regents:
Earth Science: 96
Biology: 92 (< ^ both same as xanderman.... we r so kewl)
Math A: 99- yeah that jun 2003 one that "everybody failed"
Math B: 100
Chemistry: TBA
Spanish: TBA
global: TBA (< ^ about 1 week i'll let u know, i doubt u care though lol)

next yr: engl, USH, Phys

I Totally Screwed Up My Math B Regents!!! I Passed But What Should I Do??!!

should i take the regents over again???!!

Did you get a decent grade in the class (that is what colleges will see first). what is your school's policy if you take the regents a second time. If you take it twice, do they only put your best grade on your transcript or do the put both grades on? If they only post your best grade, then it may be worth the effort to take it again. In a few weeks the june 2005 regents will be posted on regentsprep.org.

I know that school just ended today, but the principal is still usually around the month of July. Is there any way that you can your exam s that you can see what areas you did well in? From what I hear, the august test is easier. Then you can review.

Have you heard overall how people in your school did on the math B regents? I did not see anything in the times so maybe it was not the state wide mess that it has been in the past.

nooooooo
just forget about it, i dont even think they let u take it again if u pass it. its not a SAT-like thing
