Question for New York High School Students? (Please Answer)

How important were your Regents grades in your admissions?

I was admitted. I had 3 regents grades in the 80's and 7 regents grades in the 90's. I don't think they played any part in my being admitted, but perhaps they validated my grades and/or the strength of my classes. If I were you, I would be worried if there's a large discrepancy between the grade you got on a regents and in the class, such as getting a 90 in "AP" Bio and then failing the regents.
Basically, don't worry about it.

They would only play a role for NYC/CA colleges. Other states don't have them and therefore don't recognize them so they get little to no weight.

I'm a New York student, and Regents exams are generally used for graduation requirements.

so if i got like a B+ in math B and didnt do that great on the regents will it be ok?
