This topic was covered two years ago--and the thread was still being posted to yesterday:

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-life/334528-top-10-most-beautiful-campuses.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-life/334528-top-10-most-beautiful-campuses.html</a></p>

My vote at that time was:

1) Pepperdine
2) Indiana University at Bloomington
3) Colgate University

Today, I might move Univ of Richmond (who was on my top 5 list originally) into the top 3.

P.S. I haven't been to Wagner or Rhodes; I have been to Dartmouth and Princeton and Stanford--all of which are nice, too.

I also think that one has to clarify "most beautiful"--for example, both Penn and USC are beautiful campuses, both both are surrounded by not so nice areas the minute you step off campus. Other campuses, like Princeton and Dartmouth, get higher ratings because the towns they are in are very nice, while the campuses are just okay (in my view).

LOL, I'm constantly in awe of how nice and beautiful our campus is every time I walk to class every morning. Our sidewalks are pretty sweet. :) I love the red brick with white trim Georgian architecture. Very stunning and beautiful. :D

cambridge (specifically corpus christi), princeton, yale old campus, MITs was pretty neat.

^ My house is three blocks away from MIT's campus...

MIT's campus is not pretty lol. The massive building containing the infinite corridor is pretty neat on the outside. MIT's campus is butt ugly!

haha, i havent been there since 7th grade, so all i really remember is the ridic new building

Call me biased, but I think UW-Madison perfectly blends the "urban" and the "open" spaces of campuses perfectly. At a certain point, giant mall after giant mall gets a bit old. Wisconsin offers everything. More than anywhere else I've seen, it allows a student to be downtown in a bustling urban environment one moment, and then suddenly on a campus surrounded by forests, a giant lake, tree-canopied paths, open spaces, hills, and beautiful campus buildings.

Not all campuses need to have superfluously gigantic lawn space!

I agree with TheDesertFox. Madison is beautiful. AND there are plenty of green spaces too. The lake is gorgeous as well:

^^^I think I went a little overboard in trying to prove my point..hehe

Of course, for the sake of proving out point, December through March do not exist in Madison.

LOL: Hey, I think it looks pretty in the snow, also!
