There are people who are good at math but hate it (that’s me btw) And then ones who are good and love it, the ones who are bad and like it (far and few between), and the ones who are bad and hate it.

It’s really those four categories that mathtakers are in.

ohh I see… tbh I don’t know what Algebra II Trig is either US courses confuse me so much but I kind of get the gist.
@exeterbunny I take Additional Mathematics but I’m horrible at it hahahha God knows why I chose it in the first place
oh and Hong Kong!

Ohhh, I definitely fall under good and love it then I like that everything has its place/formula, it just makes sense. I get frustrated when I don’t do well but for the most part I enjoy math. I definitely have to pay attention, though. Grammar and history and Spanish etc I can generally teach myself as of right now, but math is a little trickier

Yeah. I’ve been told I have a gift for math, but I dislike performing it. Math is probably the only subject that crucially needs a teacher. If I had to pick one teacher of all subjects, it would be math.

I have a love-hate relationship with math… it’s not boring, not like memorizing equations and stuff. it’s so fun when you solve tricky questions and the feeling of self-accomplishment and triumph when you actually solve it correctly is the freaking best. but i’ve cried tears of anger over math too… frustration at not being able to solve the problems.

Couldn’t agree more, mrnephew

That self-accomplishment feeling is the best. But I prefer when I win a debate to when I solve a really hard math problem. Go law majors!!! ;)

Finally, another person interested in law! It’s 1:11, make a wish yall

10:11(now 12) here.

Law is by far the most interesting subject. ( at least, IMHO )

I’ve been doing mock trial since seventh grade, I absolutely love it! I’d also love to be a venture capitalist lol, but I’m not sure I want to put in the work as an entrepreneur to get there!

Yeah, I’ve been doing MT too. I love CX, watching opposing witnesses squirm.

Off on a tangent here, but these chocolate covered coffee beans are really really good.

Those sound absolutely heavenly… Share please!!

@bluepolicebox I’m an international student too! I live in Beijing though. Whats dreadful is having to wait until night to get the results! Oh the agony!

Hello! And I wish I could just send them over to you right now @exeterbunny

I’ll have to get my hands on some of those, what could possibly be better than coffee and chocolate?

Do any of you have school tomorrow? I’m on break so I can justify an allnighter hehe

ooh you live in Beijing? I have relatives there! And are you a US citizen or…?

Oh wow your lucky. I have school. But maybe having school is better than stressing out all day about boarding school? @exeterbunny

I have school, and a test, but you know what? I’m going to be a rebel and not care.

Waiting in any form is cruel and unusual punishment. We should punish capital crimes by not telling them what their punishment is.

Oh I absolutely think so, I’d love to be in school tomorrow! I’m going to be spending m10 home alone waiting for letters :((

Mrnephew is showing off his rebellious, bad boy side… M10 has turned him rogue!
