I am starting a new club for anyone who scored above 1900 but below 2000.
2000 is often considered the elusive "magic score" when it comes to top colleges, so I'm just wondering how many people shared my frustration in comming so close to achieving it. Just post your scores and the SAT you took and as long as there in the 1900 - 2000 range, you're in. Also, for those of you who took the October 2006 SAT, post those scores when you get them. I wonder how many of us will finally crack the 2000 mark.

I'd be in this club, but I gave up on the SAT and am now very pleased with my ACT score. I'd encourage everyone to at least try it out, I only wish I knew about it sooner!

i dunno. I just got smarter for some reason. I was at 1900 until up 2 weeks b4 the test when i took a practice test and got 2100. Now, i retook in OCT pretty sure i got 2200+

Good for you backfire. Both me and a kid I know got a 190 on the PSAT last year, but he destroyed me on the SAT (2150 vs 1940). Sometimes it is just how lucky you are and how you feel on a particular day.

Or we'll start an almost 2300 club. I know, it's wishful thinking.
(By the way, keep those posts coming, I'm sure there are more of us out there. I mean come on, not EVERYONE on CC is an insanely smart, 2200+ scorer. 1900 scorers on the October test are welcome too.)

1.) Hepstar (me) - 1940
2.) bannana_girl - 1950
3.) TheVeganActress - 1970
3.) backfire - 1900 (2090 on another attempt)
4.) SuaVe - 1950
5.) alextakashi - 1940
6.) The Brian - 1900

You aren't automatically kicked out if you break 2000 on a future SAT. I'll just mention it next to your name. I'm also going to calculate the average gain/loss in SAT scores once everyone submits their next set of scores. Spread the word about the club and keep up the posts.
