<p>I’d give myself a 9.5 out of 10 (3.7 GPA in the competitive psych major with NO relevant ECs, just work and softball coaching, so I think my essays got me in), but who knows if that’s what the reviewers thought?</p>

<p>It’s going to be hard turning down UCLA’s acceptance…staying at CC for another 2 years to complete physical therapy pre-reqs and hopefully transfer in as a biology major by then. I know it will be the better decision in the long run though. </p>

<p>I know you can call and find out why you get rejected, but can you call and find out why you got accepted? I poured a lot of heart and soul into my (deeply personal) essay, and I really want to find out if that was a deciding factor or not.</p>

<p>Just checked my FA award. I’m so upset that they gave me only 5k in gift aid. UCSD offered me over 15k. How is that possible? Is there a hope that Berkeley will give me more. There is no way I can find that much money to finance my education.</p>
