The OFFICIAL 5 hour Stress-Out Thread

Decision Day Has Arrived - Live Blogging All Day

WE ARE DONE! Well, sort of...

The arduous five month application review process is complete and as of this morning (Wednesday, March 28) the 14,000+ decision notifications have been delivered to the Baltimore postal center. The e-mail decisions will start going out at 5:00 PM EDT -- but please know it could take up to five hours for all the e-mails to be sent. Please refer to my March 12 entry for further information on how we release decisions. [We will not release decisions over the phone!]

Well, that's it. They're coming! Let us all entertain each other and pass the time!

I'll start off! (It'll be 1:00 am here, by the time 5:00 rolls round) :)

11:00 pm here in germany!

anybody else really encouraged by that picture of like 20 mail crates full of acceptances? :D

:D I'm actually looking forward to this decision, should be a nice buildup to Duke an hour later. :D

cool...i feel right at home....yeah its gonna be pretty late at 5:00 here too....and to think that it can take longer than that :(

have you guys been accepted anywhere else yet?

i was accepted EA to UChicago. thought that would eliminate the stress/anxiety for my remaining unis but i'm quickly realizing it didn't. though i do love chicago!

Accepted to Michigan and CMU. Most of the schools I really want to go to are coming up now though. :)

wow thats awesome!! why ru so concerned about JHU then?? ive got into lehigh, BU and penn state so far...they were my safeties...not at all satisfied

have you guys been rejected from anywhere so far??? i havnt and the thought petrifies me

i don't know JHU was my dream since 9th grade. i decided to apply to chicago after as another reach i'd be happy at, but i'd still really like to get into JHU so i can have a few options.

Rejected at MIT. (I'm assuming Frig, that you're referring to chris, not to me. :p)

has anyone thought to check their financial aid account online as an early way to check acceptance/rejection??? just an idea...

and although i'm sure i'd love chicago's core, i'm a little afraid it might kill my chances at getting into med school.

yeah but you havnt done so bad urself shriv...CMU's better than lehigh

now i understand...im a premed student too and JHUs like the perfect place for med

MenalQ, i don't see any hints on my financial aid page. looks like it was last updated 3/8/2007 12:00:00 AM.

Does anybody know if the subject titles will be different if you're accepted/rejected?

Probably not.

Most colleges just say: ________ College Decision or words to that effect.

last year the subject on the accepted email was "Congratulations from Johns Hopkins!"

I'd assume it doesn't say congrats for rejections. :S

and i'd also assume its the same this year.

one things for sure..at the end of this five hour facade im gonna need glasses
